About Me

I am a Christian husband and father, a peer-reviewed scientist, and the author of The Devine Write.

After graduating with a B.S. from Pensacola Christian College, I had the privilege of teaching high school Science and Math at Calvary Christian Academy.

Two years later, I decided to get serious about my passion for Science and entered graduate school. I earned my PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Alabama.

Since graduate school, I have been a proud employee at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. As a postdoctoral researcher, I studied rhabdomyosarcoma for nearly two years. In March 2014, I transitioned to my current position as Senior Scientist I at Children's GMP, LLC.

I recently joined Maranatha Baptist University's online adjunct faculty. I am involved in online course development, as well as online instructing.

When I'm not working, I spend most of my time with my wife and kids. I like to write, take photos, and read about modern science (mostly Biology and medicine). I eat chocolate chip cookies almost every day of my life, and coffee is indispensable.
