Money is important.
In my opinion, nothing says more about your moral character than how you acquire and spend money.
Jesus said, "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:21)
I have written several posts on financial topics--not because I love money, but because I believe it reveals the quality of my convictions and aspirations.
I may say I want XYZ, but it requires ABC. If I'm really serious, I can look at my finances to see if I'm investing in XYZ by doing ABC. If I am, I'm on track. If I'm not, then my good intentions are all but useless.
My posts are not just about making or managing money, though those are important, but they are about building a proper perspective of money.
If you view money properly, it makes is much easier to manage it correctly.
